Histology OnLine is a virtual microscopy web site developed by the West Virginia University Neurobiology and Anatomy Department. The site features:

• Collection of digitized whole slide images appropriate for medical, dental, and paramedical courses,
• Annotated images viewed at any magnification and in relation to surrounding tissues,
• Organized lists of specimens,
• Comprehensive, easily referenced annotations on many slides,
• Multi-level search function that allows cross referencing of organs, tissues, cells and structures.
